PARIS WEEKEND GUIDE
Exactly one month ago I visited Paris. I stayed there only for 3 days for the #PerfectNever Reebok campaign and the Les Mills event. Besides the daily activities we had with Reebok, we also had plenty of time to visit this magical city. My friend Christina, travelled with me to Paris and during our free time we strolled around with Antigone, our friend who lives in Paris, and also Olga, one of the best persons I have met through Greek influencers. We were the absolute gang to get crazy! We were always walking with a fast pace in order to do as many things as possible. I guess you saw how “crazy” our situation was through my Instagram stories.
Below I am listing the things you wouldn’t want to miss if you visit Paris for your first time or if you are going just for a weekend.
-Walk in Le Marais and Montmartre to see some of the most beautiful parts of Paris.
-Walk around Trocadéro and take the best pictures you can with Tour Eiffel in the background. The best pictures will be the ones on the way down towards Tour Eiffel.
-Visit Palais Royal and Musée d’Orsay. Don’t miss them. Also a good spot for beautiful Instagram photos.
-Climb over the Arc de Triomphe for amazing panoramic pictures of Paris.
-Of course Musée du Louvre would be on the top of the list, but only if you have plenty of time to properly see it all. (unless you have been there before)
Where to eat
-Stop by Du Pain et des Idées for amazing croissants with different fillings and sit on the communal table outside to enjoy your croissant. (34 Rue Yves Toudic)
-Coffee at the historic Café de Flore and then something to eat at Relais de L’Entrecôte which is nearby. Relais de L’Entrecôte make an entrecôte dish with their signature sauce that drives everyone crazy. (Boulevard St.Germain)
-Another everyone’s must eat list is Le Bistrot Paul Bert. An old school French restaurant. Please, don’t miss it. You will terribly regret it. (18 Rue Paul Bert )
-For best Parisian warm chocolate and pastries visit Angelina. (226 Rue de Rivoli)
-Don’t you miss the macarons at Ladurée. (75 Av. de Champs-Élysées)
-Dinner at the unique resto Derriére. Tip: Sit on the bed. (69 Rue des Gravilliers)
-Visit Ralph Lauren’s cafe because the decor, the food and even the warm chocolate are super great. (173 Boulevard Saint-Germain)
-If you go for a walk at Les Marais, don’t miss to stop by Kiliwatch Concept Store for some of the best vintage shopping.
-You have to visit at least one neighborhood pharmacy, because you will find plenty of great beauty products. A must-buy beauty product is the Embryolisse Lait-Créme Concentré which is an excellent multi-tasker for your face: a primer, moisturiser, make-up remover, repairing mask. A cult favorite since the 1950s for photoshoots, television and film sets internationally.
-Find your Parisian dream home at Airbnb. I think it’s the smartest choice.
-For the luxury lovers, I would definitely recommend the historic Hôtel Plaza Athénée. It’s near Champs-Élysées and Tour Eiffel. Such a beautiful hotel.
Ooh..Paris, Mon Amour! I hope guys, if you are about to visit Paris soon, not only to visit these spots, but also to find favorites of your own. Do you have any favorites?
